About Domine Clemons

Domine Clemons grew up in a large musical family as the eighth of ten children. When she was fourteen, her family moved to Madeira, Portugal, where she was a background vocalist for her father’s live Big Band show at the Casino da Madeira. After one year, Domine and her family returned to the United States, settling in Naples, Florida, where she continued performing with her father across the state, singing everything from rock and roll hits to jazz. When Domine went off to study economics on a voice scholarship, she was told to her surprise that she had the makings of an opera singer. It was here that she was a member of the chamber choir and studied under the private vocal instruction of Melissa Osmond. In December 2019, she played the role of the mother in the opera Amahl and the Night Visitors, and also sang the Ave Maria, accompanied by the college orchestra, to celebrate the university’s 175th anniversary and the opening of Christ Chapel. Domine was also the lead singer for several bands while at university.  

After graduating in 2020, Domine began working in the corporate world but felt unfulfilled and burnt out. She made the life-changing decision in 2023 to pursue a career in singing. As of September 2023, Domine has established herself as a luxury singer for private parties, galas, and weddings in Naples, Florida. She also enjoys singing at various churches in town. Domine hopes to inspire others to pursue their dreams and higher purpose by not letting fear stand in their way. She has witnessed firsthand the achievements that hard work and God-given talents can bring and looks forward to spreading His light through uplifting and sacred music.
